Workwear

Going on a massive shopping spree this Saturday for last minute EOFY sale's.

Hoping to buy some workwear and casual clothes to completely update my wardrobe.

As for sales I found this beautiful dress on ASOS for work, would love to buy it!

It would go perfect with some pearls - very Audrey!

I am back.....

Ok, after much musing, I have started a Business Administration Certificate 4.

It is an online TAFE course because I need a bigger life plan other than selling jewellery on the weekends.

I am also working on my work and casual wardrobe ( but especially work).

I have already bought some lovely clothing pieces, but I really need to update my shoes, I have been wearing flats all year, but they have broken, so I had to wear some heels ( this is at a job where I work 9 hours then have to run to catch a bus to get home)  and was unsure how it would go. It wasn't that bad, I just need a good pair that are not to high and don't give me blisters, as I can't wear flats to work for the rest of my career.

If I hope to get a proper corporate job I will have to wear some sort of heeled shoe, so I might as well ge used to it now!

So let the search for some new flat and heeled shoes begin!!

MOTIVATION - THINGS TO BUY

So me and one of my best friends have joined a gym, and I am trying to get motivated to get more fit... surprisingly I don't hate the gym at all like I though I would, but it is hard to eat less and more healthy like I should do. Its all the little things.

Anyway I figure if I find things to keep me motivated this might help, so here is a list of random stuff to keep me motivated.

Shopping Spree

Ok, so tomorrow I am heading into the city and I am going on a massive shopping spree, I know, I know what about my commitment to saving up for London and Paris, well I have some extra shifts coming my way and I really do need some new clothes, especially when I go to work or go our with the girls for Friday night dinners.

I also will be sooo grabbing myself some Peter Alexander pyjamas, he really knows how to do a sale and I swear I sleep better in his clothes.

So this is my plan.

First stop off at the Mid City Centre and Snoop out the Peter Alexander, Bardot and Forever New. Then Head on over to the Strand Arcade, followed by the QVB. I will then stop over at Westfields followed by David Jones and then Myers.

I have mapped this out all in accordance to what time the shops close.

HEHEHEHEHE

I think I shall also go to the ' Old Vienna Coffee House' and have a lovely lunch with a champagne.

Sometimes a gal just has to treat herself.

Not bad for $35 from Forever new.

They looks sooo perfect with my one teaspoon knit as well...

Marc New york

These Photos do not do this Marc New York dress enough credit.
This is so perfect, good in Autumn and Winter, as a dress or a mini coat.
You just know I will be teaming it with a scarf.

It reminds me of the YSL Safari Dress that is in the '100 Unforgettable Dresses' book that I received for Chrissy/B'day.

Now I just need some knee high boots and I am all done...

Look of the day

I wear to much black, I think a part of me always will. However I LOVE scarves.
I have too many, a whole chest of them actually, which is why I love this look so much, I think half my looks this winter will be black, heels and a scarf from my scarf chest.

Womens Cufflinks

Looking at images on Google for womens cufflinks, I get a sense that yes womens cufflinks are out there, the variety is alright, but I have to say the lack of women wearing them is down to the lack of shirts made for women to wear them being sold in the market.

Think about it, when was the last time you saw a shirt that could be worn casually ( but  not business) with cufflinks.

I wonder if I should buy a shirt with a cuff and cut out the button and make an extra slit, make a pair of cufflinks and see how it all looks, its an idea......

Feeling Very Olsen

I went shopping with my Nan a few days ago, did not intend to go shopping and buy up but hey it was a nice surprise and I couldn't resist.

I got a fantastic bustle jersey skirt, a soft stussy linen shirt, a pair of leather Gallo ( haven't heard much about the brand) shoes that are sooooo comfortable and soft I could wear them all day. I got $330 worth of Model Co make up for about $45.

I also popped over to a friend of mines new temporary thrift shop and was able to get a great Country Road Singlet and sleeveless black vest kind of jacket with drapes that kind of match the bustle skirt.

I must say I am feeling very Olsen with my latest buys ...
